  • Lodging Partner Programs and Forms
  • Guest Transiet Tax Description - Coming Soon. Information for Hotels, motels, cabins, B & B's, apartments, lodging rented for less than 90 consecutive days within a calendar quarter. Effective August 28, 2007 the transient guest tax must be collected on all stays of 90 days or less in a calendar quarter. (Do not confuse with 90 consecutive days). This change should eliminate any confusions and difficulties with the collection of the guest tax.
  • Lodging Tax Facts - Answers to Common Questions about the Guest Tax.
  • Lodging Tax Form - For Hotels, motels, cabins, B & B's, apartments, and any lodging rented for less than 90 consecutive days within a calendar quarter. This form effective 8/07
  • 3 Annual lodging partner meetings - discussions on marketing opportunities and items related to the lodging industry.
  • Guest Resource Book - Supplied to lodging partners for display in facility lobby
  • Visitors Guides - Listing in directory, including amenties
    for distribution to guests
  • Rack Card - Listing of hotel contact information and amenities. These cards are displayed in the Visitors and distributed to MWR for the family graduation packets.
  • Phone Bank: Located in the Visitors' Center which vistors may call your front desk for vacancy information.
  • Quarterly Tourism Tips Newsletter
  • Marketing Programs Available through the Pulaski County Tourism Bureau to include Brochure distribution program, highlight your business at one of the many tradeshows that we attend, Visitors Center back lit signs, Web advertising.
  • Bid Requests and Group Inquiries
  • Tourism Orientation Program: Complimentary program to assist employees of local business in providing information of tourism attraction to visitors in our area.


    Event Planners
  • Co-op Marketing Program: Apply for co-op marketing funds for your event held in Pulaski County.

  • Annual Co-op marketing workshop: Held January of each year.
  • Event Planning Packet: Containing information on how to market your event, how to write a press release and more.
  • Website Listings:List your event on our calendar. - Free of charge
  • Lobby Board: Event will be listed on the lobby board in the Visitors Center
  • Brochures/flyers Display: Event brochures/flyers may be displayed in the Visitors Center
  • Event Vendor Applications: Can be downloaded from the Pulaski County Tourism Bureau website, if application is provided to the Bureau
  • Ticket Sales: The Bureau offers your event tickets for sale. Processing fee applies.
    Restaurants
  • Guest Resource Book: This book is supplied to lodging partners for display in facility lobby; your take out menu can be displayed in this resource book. The book is updated annually.
  • Visitors Guides: Free listing, for distribution to guests

  • Co-op Tradeshow Program
  • Guest Resource Book: Supplied to lodging partners for diplay in facility lobby. Display your brochure for free.
    Ambassador Program
    Be an ambassador to Pulaski County by greeting guests to our area that stop in at the Visitors Center.

    Intern Educational Program
    The Pulaski County Tourism Bureau Partners with the Hospitality Course at the Waynesville Technically Academy,
    providing an opportunity for hands on experience in the day to day activities of the business world and the tourism
    industry. Interns learn how to interact with visitors, fulfill leads, webdesign, accounting, marketing; advertising, tracking
    advertising success, design a resume', apply and participate in a mock job interview, just to name a few. Interns also attend at least one board meeting. Evaluations are held monthly.
